Please, someone could explain to me the meaning of "conies" in the sentence below because the dictionary says: CONY: a rabbit, or the fur of a rabbit.
"May 1945: The war in Europe conies to an end."

It's an error; it should read "May 1945: The war in Europe comes to an end."
