Yes people in Indonesia call them chichaks and they are also very common in their hotels. In English they are called house geckos.

Hi, Juli. You said have seen it inside the house. well, usually there are two type you can see in the house. the litle one called "Cicak". Cicak always like to be near the lamp. It is waiting for bugs approaching to catch up for food. The bigger one is called "Tokek". Tokek is very rare showing it self.
