How do You differe "Won't" and "Want"? May be this question is more for english learners than native speakers. Of course I know about transcription and grammar features, but really i can't to hear difference when native speaker speaks.

Use visual cues. Regardless of the accent of each native speaker, the shape of the lip of "won't" is rounder than that of "want." Sometimes you also need to notice the tongue and teeth position of some sounds to help you differentiate. It's part of the auditory reception.

You might want to hear the pronunciation of both words here: Won't -> https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/wont?q=won%27t Want -> https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/want?q=Want I hoped this helps.

Won’t is more like « Oh » / wəʊnt /and want is more like «  Ah » /wɒnt/ if that helps?
