Is it correct to say "take a decision" instead of "make a decision"?

"Take a decision" and "make a decision" are both correct.
In British English, "take a decision" is less common than "make a decision." In American English, "take a decision" is very very rare. Here are Google Ngrams for British and American books.

Hi Olena,
As DavidK says, in *US English* “make a decision* is more correct and natural. But I believe in UK English “take a decision” is correct/acceptable.

In American English, “make a decision” is much more common and better.
But you could hear something like “he took the unfortunate decision to sell his house to his neighbor without determining its true market value”. It could be used in the past and suggests making a decision quickly. But I’d still prefer “made”.

No, 'to make a decision' or 'to decide' are correct, but not 'to take a decision'.
