Is it incorrect to say "finalized version of sth" ?
Hi friends,
Is it incorrect to say "finalized version of sth" ? I am taking about an output of a discussion that you have to finalize sth.
E.g. can it be called as Finalized version of the report, Finalized version of the Training Policy etc. ?
Thanks in advance,
Niwantha

“Final version” sounds better to me and is more common, but some American English speakers would used “finalized” in that way so I wouldn’t call it wrong.

I think as long as it has been agreed as the complete and final copy by you or your staff- it is okay to say:
Finalized version of...
Hope this helps!

I would say this is quite American English; finalise/finalize is a verb. I suspect it has been used this way, but not as neat as it could be. It might be simpler to say "The final version of the training policy".
