Can we say “晚安” to a male/female friend (一个普通的朋友）?
In Chinese culture, is it quite normal to say “晚安” to your male/female friend who is not your romantic interest?? Is there any possibility that you are misunderstood if you do? Or does it depend on individuals??

if you talk with your friend late in night, you can say it when the talk is end, that's nomal and plite.
