What's the difference between these conjugations?
넌 알고 있었잖아요.
AND
넌 알고 있었어요.
I've seen both translated as "You knew," but they're clearly different. What's the nuance of meaning between the two?

"-잖아요" the speaker is partially sure so wants to double check.
"-있다" is more certain as you said.

So - 잖아 has the connotation that the speaker is unsure if the person knew something while -있다 is more certain. Is that correct?

넌 알고 있었잖아요 means "You knew that, right?"
넌 알고 있었어요 means "I'm sure you already knew that".
