It seems to me that you are trying to treat the English alphabet as a system of hieroglyphs. It is a fascinating approach. g: to throw o: the eye go: to throw oneself forward and look Some of the letters of the modern English alphabet can be traced back directly to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Here is a reference: http://members.peak.org/~jeremy/dictionaryclassic/chapters/alphabet.php Here is an amazing chart that traces the symbols of the modern English alphabet back as far as 3000BC. http://members.peak.org/~jeremy/dictionaryclassic/chapters/pix/alphabet.gif

Hi 孟路君, Could you give a link for where you get your questions from? They are very confusing. It seems you're looking for the root-meaning based on each single letter, but this is not how etymology works. You're starting to confuse it with acronyms.
