Really complicated subject, but I only can tell you that love is ideal thing and marriage is real thing. It`s better be reasonable while you in love and if you don`t want to hurt someone`s feeling, I think you could always try to let it him/her know in a reasonable and careful way.

Do you mean there is someone you don't like but you don't want to hurt them either. They are kind of in love with you? Are you asking what to do?

It takes years to figure out people no matter how blind in love you are. Give yourself one year before you decide you`re blissfully in love. Every relationship has that "I`m in Love" period.
