If the 'thou' in the following sentence is a shorthand form of "though"? thou Singapore uses simplified chinese, i prefer traditional.

I think the person who wrote that sentence is simply lazy. They did not mean "thou" in the old-fashioned sense for "you", but as an abbreviation for "though" or "although". Maybe this is fine in real shorthand, but otherwise it is not. Also, "simplified" and "chinese" both require capital letters, as does "i" and, in theory, "traditional" too: Although Singapore uses Simplified Chinese, I prefer Traditional. (or) Although Singaporeans use Simplified Chinese, I prefer Traditional.

Thou is ancient word that is used by Scribes during the time of Prophet Mosses.In the present time we use it as YOU. Ex. Thou shall not kill. You shall not kill. Conjunction: Though---- Even though,in inspite of the fact that. Ex. Even though they are poor but they are happy.

I forgot, you can find thou = you, thy = your, mostly in Christian religion, when adressing to God.

thou is an old form of YOU !! You Singapore (Singaporians = people from S.) USE (2nd person of the singular) simplified chinese, (or ;) i prefer traditional.
