Is there any difference between "weakness" and "fault"? Thank you
RTThank you Mike. I really appreciate your answer~ However, actually "fault" can also refer to one's weakness. The following setence is from dictionary: Her great fault was that she thought too well of herself. In this case, there seems to be no difference between the two words. Am I right?

Yes, of course. Weakness is noun produced from the adjective "weak". Weak is a person who is not able to do something, who is not strong. Strong is opposite to weak. "Fault" can mean mistake. You can say: it's my fault. That means that you have done something wrong and because of this you are blaming yourself.

Fred, I don't agree that weakness is a situation. It can be a quality of a man, lack of something... weakness can be a situation, for example, when it is caused by illness. You say that you were weak after the illness...

weakness ıs a sıtuatıon that ıt ıs result of your lıfe preference, but fault ıs a movement whıch you have done mıstakes to others or you.
