Hi Trey. Standard Arabic is not used in everyday conversation in ANY Arab country. Like BBC English or Oxford English for English-speaking countries, it is accepted throughout the Arab world as the standard version used in official/legal documents, in the media and in schools. Every country has its own variety of Arabic and there are even varying dialects in the same country depending on the regions. From a prescriptive standpoint, Arabic is seen as "deteriorating" because it is witnessing "drastic" changes due to borrowing of words from other languages, etc.. From a descriptive position, all languages change, which is normal, and this is accounted for by factors like globalization, the internet, the mass media, etc..

hey ,here in egypt we donot use it expect in schools ,we have here our own laguage in speaking and communication specially the teenagers.

i disagree no, not really. its not used especially between the young generation, they would laugh if some one speaks standard, i guess its used in the media and like any other language we have accents .

i agree with EternalRose but in saudi arabia , and any country in middle East all of them speak arabic but Different accent and Pronunciation of some letters

not really... it depends on the country. For example, in Saudi Arabia and in some Middle Eastern countries, the standard Arabic is very common and is used everyday! But i think the language is deteriorating over time... :/
