What does the sentence( It smells like a chanel ) mean ?
I gather that (Chanel) is a fashion designer .But I am not sure if her designs are distinguished for their smell !!!!!!!!!! Help me out !!!!!!

Chanel are also a cosmetics company and they make a lot of perfumes, e.g. No. 5, Coco, Allure.
I suppose it smells like one of Chanel's perfumes.

Chanel is high class perfume.Very high class and probably the best known. It became widely known many years ago after a series of some very clever ads.
