Pavel, Income is used to describe the money earned by an individual, from a salary, investments etc. Revenue is used to describe the money a business, organisation or government receives over a particular period of time, for example a government might receive 1 billion dollars in tax revenue over a financial year or, I might earn an income of 50,000 dollars a year (I don't by the way!)

"Income" is used to talk about an individual's earnings. Income is usually what the person earns from his job, but for tax purposes can also include things like lottery winnings, child support payments, etc., meaning any money that the person has taken in during the year. We don't really use revenue for the individuals. If you get a raise, your yearly income increases. "Revenue" is used with businesses, organizations, and government to talk about all of the money they receive by doing business, raising funds, collecting taxes -- all of the things that bring money in, not just selling. In the business world, "income" is used too, but it's different from what it means for individuals.
