洗腦 = brainwashed 政治化 = politicised 內定 = chosen internally The whole Gala is just a shabang arranged by the Chinese politicians to praise and worship the party. Hardly anyone outside Mainland will be interested in it. There is a much more interesting one held in Taipei.

I would imagine the differences are very obvious.
