What does give a damn mean?
I think you've mistaken me for someone who gives a damn. What dose give a damn mean in this context which is usually used with a form of negation? Thank you in advance.

It is nearly always used with negative as "I don't give a damn", meaning 'I don't care', 'I'm not interested'.
