Yes, it is--poems, as of pinions (feathers), and peons (messengers) (also, poetics, toiletries, polities, hippopotamuses~)

Poetry is an uncountable noun because it refers to a group or collection of things, e.g., Poetry is made up of all the poems that have been written. Water is made up of all the H2O molecules. Information is made up of / Information consists of one or more pieces of information. A poem is a single, independent item/thing and we can count how many poems there are, so "poem" is a countable noun, e.g., There are 60 poems in my book of poetry. Here is a link to some good information about countable/non-countable (uncountable) nouns: http://esl.about.com/od/grammarforbeginners/a/g_cucount.htm And here is a link to a fun quiz: http://ww2.college-em.qc.ca/prof/epritchard/trouindx.htm#com click on the quiz under the heading "Adjectives, Articles, Adverbs"
