I think I'm an optimistic person in day-to-day life but I'm not optimistic about the future of the world. The global financial system may collapse one day.

Human civilization will definitely end some day, as everything in the world does. So in general sense we are slowly but surely going to the finish. But I suppose humanity will have enough time to go to some new level in the study of physics, and in the application of fundamentally new technologies, so it will be able to prolong it's existence. I hope.
