Hi guys 👋, Could you please help tell me the meaning of these phrases: 1. Go over the hill 2. I saw red They are from this sentence: "I knew it would be difficult to rent the apartment again before fall. I could see that rent income going over the hill and believe me, I saw red." Thank you 😊

To "see red" is to get really angry. The speaker seems to be saying that he got angry because he is going to lose some rental income. "Over the hill" is a common idiom, but not in that context. "Over the hill" normally means someone is old, washed-up, no longer in demand or doesn't have the skills or abilities he used to have.
