I think consuming English Medias is very effective. And if the media is interactive then it's even better.
According to my experience, of course studying English traditionally created a base for me, but what really took me to another level is getting used to with English based Medias.

Instead of posting in my mother tongue, I started captioning everything in English. At first, I used to face some problems expressing myself. Google was a life savior. Quora and Reddit already have many answers to your existing problems. If not, then you can ask questions to the native speakers as well. Always try to interact in English and limit the use of your mother tongue.
Receiving input is the most important factor.
Movies, games, books, other forms of videos and songs will definitely help you in this journey. Challenge yourself to understand English without subtitles.
While listening to music, keep following the lyrics. And you can also try karaoke.
Shadow learning is a good method to learn the accent and pronunciation. Mimic your favorite artists dialogues. You can find several free resources online which will help you in shadow learning.
And remember, don't translate everything word to word.
