مدرّس🌟 DAY 20/30: The 'SELF' Hindi Challenge 🌟
नमस्ते (Namaste)! 🙏
We have officially hit Day 20! Today, we are learning a word that is absolutely essential for everyday life, shopping, and traveling. It helps you talk about time, money, and items you see around you.
Today’s Word: कितना (Kitna)
Meaning: How much / How many
How to use it: "यह कितना है?"
(Yeh kitna hai?) "How much is this?"
💡 TEACHER'S TIP: This word changes slightly depending on whether you are talking about a single item, multiple items, or something feminine.
कितना (Kitna): For a single masculine item or total price (e.g., Kitna hua? = How much is the total?)
कितने (Kitne): For plural masculine items (e.g., Kitne log? = How many people?)
कितनी (Kitni): For feminine items (e.g., Kitni chai? = How much tea?)
📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Let's practice counting or asking prices! Imagine you are at an Indian market. Pick an item or a noun and ask a question using कितना/कितने/कितनी.
Drop your question in the comments below, and I will help you check if you used the right version! 👇
