Hey Rachel haha! I hope you'll find someone to talk with, i think that there's nothing better to improve ourself. and if you don't find someone now, don't hesitate to put a message again in 1 or 2 weeks, you'll get others replies. That's what i did for spanish and because of it i could talk to several people (3 months ago i could barely say "my name is basile" in spanish, and now i can say many simple things, and its really enjoyable to see ourself progressing) See you soon :)
