He said “ your politics are ugly “ to the person.
The person is not a politician actually.
Why he said “ your politics are “.
Politics means “ politics “ right?
Like government or something.

Here it means a person's personal opinions about politics: his or her opinions on the issues of the day, especially on items of controversy. For example, in the United States a big item of contention is gun control. There is much disagreement on that, and a person might not agree with someone else's "politics" on that matter.
