مُعلم محترفHere's an example of irony:
Imagine a person who is afraid of flying because they believe it's unsafe. They decide to take a train instead, thinking it's a much safer mode of transportation. However, on their train journey, they encounter multiple delays, mechanical issues, and even an unexpected detour due to track maintenance. In the end, their train arrives at their destination much later than a flight would have.
The irony in this situation lies in the fact that the person's fear of flying led them to choose what they believed to be a safer alternative, only to experience a series of unfortunate events that made their journey far from smooth or safe. Despite their initial intentions, they ironically ended up facing more difficulties by avoiding flying.
