No read it out aloud to yourself or better still to an audience. exercise for you look at loud "out loud" and "aloud" in 3 or more English dictionaries. Although many people today say "out loud" it will be good for your English to study reading "aloud" to an audience.

Learning entire texts might not be particularly useful but learning our favourites songs in a target language can be a fun exercise. I spend a lot of time singing in Serbian in the shower! Learning new words in a whole sentence to provide context and reinforce words we already know can also be good!

nope - not if you're not taking a role in a play. In fact it's probably counter-productive. The more I think about it, the less sensible it reveals itself to be: Why would anyone do that?
