I think it is potentially a great progress, especially about environment protection. And the more recent models have even reached a decent autonomy. But in my opinion there are some important downsizes. The first one is a poor diffusion of the recharging stations. In my country very few stations are available. Then, the management of exhausted batteries, very bulky and polluting. And last, the brand new vehicles are still too expensive.
