Today, my friend didn’t come to class. I am studying Italian this semester, and we usually take the class together every week. It was strange that she didn’t come today because she always attends the class. A few days ago, our teacher sent us an email saying that one class in December would be canceled. But my friend misunderstood the message and thought that today’s class was the one that got canceled. That’s why she didn’t come. When I sent her a message after class, she was very shocked and felt sad. She said she really wanted to come but made a mistake. I felt sorry for her, but I told her not to worry too much. Next week, we will have our midterm exam. Because of that, I think my friend will study very hard this weekend. I will also study hard so that we can both do well on the test. I hope we can laugh about this mistake later.
