The recipe for Japche can be different from person to person. It’s a my simple recipe. Main ingredients: Korean glass noodle, beef or pork, mushroom, spinach, carrot, onion. You can put any vegetable you like. If you are vegetarian, you can skip beef or pork and add more vegetable you like) First, slice beef and put it in a bowl. And then add some soy source(2 spoons), crushed garlic(1 spoon), some sugar(1 spoon) and sesame oil(1 tea spoon). Mix them well. They smell like Bulgogi(seasoned barbequed beef). Put them in the refrigerator while preparing other ingredients. Second, now you can prepare vegetable. -Spinach: Wash the spinach clean and put it in boiling water for about 30 seconds. And take the spinach out and cool it in the cold water. Squeeze it out. Put it in a bowl and then add some soy source(2 spoon) and sesame oil(1 tea spoon). Mushroom: Wash the mushroom clean and slice it. Stir them in a hot pan with a little oil and a pinch of salt. Carrot and onion: Wash the carrot and onion clean and slice them. Stir them in a hot pan with a little oil and a pinch of salt. Third, now you have to stir beef. Put them in a hot pan with oil and stir them when beef is no longer pink. Fourth, you should boil the Korean glass noodle well. Put them in boiling water for about 10 minutes. After about 10 minutes, take them out. You can see transparent noodles if they are cooked well.
