In my spare time I love reading, TV and film and drawing! I love travelling when I can and enjoy trying new foods from around the world. I have a sweet tooth so anything to do with sweet and sour dishes or desserts delight my tastebuds! Have you watched The Great British Bake Off? I highly recommend watching it to get an insight into British life and our sense of humour. However, you have been warned… it may make you feel rather peckish!
As a life long learner I am currently studying part time for a Counselling qualification here in the UK. I have little Shih Tzu dog named Chutney who sometimes makes an appearance in lessons but usually sleeps and keeps my feet warm.عني كمعلّم
I've been teaching exclusively online now for six years and love it! I'm a qualified Primary School Teacher who taught children in UK schools for five years I tried living in France, Canada and Malaysia. When I lived in France I gained my CELTA Teaching English to Adults qualification and worked for two years teaching children and adults at the British Council in Paris. I taught all levels from beginners and intermediate classes to advanced conversation classes and even bilingual students who needed specific help with literacy skills.

I hope my calm, fun and friendly personality will help you feel confident to speak up and express your ideas and opinions. I am a patient teacher who both supports and challenges students. When learning with me, mistakes are actively encouraged... this may sound strange but with each mistake you make, you learn from it. I will guide you to notice these mistakes and even correct yourself because in my experience, that is how you learn best.

Rachael has been teaching regularly to my eight-year old son. She's a very enthusiastic, kind and attentive teacher who knows how to instruct kids in creative ways. My son is progressing, and he's becoming more confident in English. We'll always thank you, Rachael!

Each conversation lessons with Rachael is a big pleasure. The lessons are challenging on the right level and there is a lot of humor as well. In a perfect atmosphere we are working very hard. I can warmly recommend Rachael, she is an excellent teacher! :)

Rachael taught our two daughters English throughout 2025. She always connected with them at their level, chatting warmly about their everyday lives and using a variety of fun, engaging activities that really helped them enjoy learning English. She’s incredibly kind, patient and caring — truly one of the best English teachers we’ve ever worked with!
