Hello! I'm Nancy, a native of Naples, the vibrant southern Italian city renowned for its culinary heritage, particularly pizza. My interests include cooking, baking, and immersing myself in films, TV series, and documentaries—especially those focused on true crime. I also have a keen interest in video games. As an Italian instructor, my focus is on helping you refine your pronunciation, master grammar, and learn commonly used expressions to ensure you can communicate naturally and effectively in Italian. Let’s work together to make your Italian sound fluent and authentic! I believe that the fastest and most effective way to learn a language is through practice: reading, writing, listening and speaking are the best weapons a student can have. I will help you get out of your confort zone with stimulating conversations, music, books and more. My lessons are mainly based on conversation. By correcting your pronunciation and syntax you will be much smoother in speaking and with the occasional help of books, videos and audios I will provide you with practical examples that will help you understand the language more easily.

Nancy is an exceptional teacher. I truly appreciated how she encouraged me to just speak and reassured me that making mistakes is part of the process. She patiently listened and responded, gave me appropriate corrections, and explained thoroughly whenever I inquired further. We had excellent conversation about the language learning, and she gave me great ideas on how to supplement my listening and speaking. I am very much looking forward to our future lessons :)

Conversare con Nancy è sempre un piacere. Imparo moltissimo ogni volta. This was a really great lesson with Nancy. What I wanted was just to have a normal conversation, as with a friend, about things going on in my life. And Nancy was very happy to do that. She was patient, she gave me very positive feedback and she provided some useful vocabulary and grammar tips without disturbing the flow of the conversation
