I am a certified English teacher from the United States, and I currently live in Mexico City. I enjoy reading, writing, stand-up comedy, and, of course, playing with my cat. I am a patient and empathetic person and I love making people laugh.عني كمعلّم
As a professor, I encourage student autonomy. This means that if you are unfamiliar with vocabulary or grammar, I will help guide you towards the meaning. In my classes, I use materials like textbooks, but I also use real-world materials like newspapers, radio news stories, podcasts, videos, and literature. I am a German teacher on italki and know both sides, I can recommend Adele as a teacher. In our first lessons we talked about my language goal and experiences, we shared our hobbies, and got to know each other. In our second lesson, we talked about some vocabulary and how to use things like full stops, and commas. She prepared a presentation and worked with examples, which she posted in the italki chat for me. She also provided me with a website to practice my English as well. In the end, she gave me some personalized homework. She is really patient, and friendly and can answer even my more complicated questions. I am 100% satisfied. Thanks, Adele 😊
