I have worked in manufacturing, shipping, and receiving for 30 years. My experience includes sales and financial services. My post-secondary education has been in anthropology and theology. Some of my interests include cycling, motorcycles, chess, and cryptocurrencies.

I like people. My approach to teaching will be based on a strong student-teacher relationship. Everyone has a unique and interesting story and I want to hear yours! During my lessons, you will be corrected on pronunciation and grammar. We will discuss how much correction is best for you. Sometimes it is best to correct mistakes right away and sometimes to evaluate problems at the end. I try my best to find the correct balance and give the student what he or she wants. 140 hour Master TEFL Program - myTEFL - 2023I studied a 140 hour online course for teaching English as a foreign language. The modules included topics such as, classroom management, teaching approaches, teaching speaking, teaching listening, teaching reading, teaching writing, using coursebooks, multimedia, curriculum planning, lesson planning, grammar, further language, testing, and teaching online.
