My name is Ian and I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I am a professional language practitioner, with 12 years experience as a copy editor, translator and proofreader. I have a wide range of interests, and enjoy learning about other countries and cultures. I enjoy communicating with people, and it brings me great joy to be of service to others.عني كمعلّم

In my lessons I will mostly focus on conversational English or Afrikaans. I believe that it is vitally important that the student gets as much time as possible to speak English or Afrikaans, and for that reason my role will mostly be to initiate conversation, correct any grammar or pronunciation mistakes, and enhance the student's vocabulary by covering as many topics of discussion as possible.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

After each lesson with Ian you feel like you've been to a session with a psychologist. He always supports and encourages. In his lessons you feel calm as if you're talking to your best friend. His professionalism is worth mentioning separately, he explains complex things in simple terms.
