Hello everyone! I am Erva, a certified teacher, book editor, and passionate language learner from Türkiye. Fluent in Turkish, English, and Arabic, I am currently pursuing my PhD in Anthropology, focusing on Middle Eastern cultures. This academic path has deepened my understanding of language as a vital window into identity, history, and the collective human experience.
I believe learning a language is like a river—at first, we struggle to find our footing, but eventually, we learn to flow with the current. Having navigated this path myself, I know exactly how to guide you through the challenges of "surrendering" to a new language. Erva is a fantastic teacher - she was able to adapt to my level of understanding very quickly and made a great plan for the lesson. Erva uses nice and simple PDFs to help understanding and is happy to explain things that you ask questions for. The hour went by so quickly. I was very happy with the lesson and will be returning on a regular basis. :):)

Erva is awesome! Not only does she master English, Turkish, and Arabic, but she also is highly knowledgable about history and the cultural aspects around the Middle East and northern Africa, making the sessions super interesting. Recommended!

Great first lesson with teacher Erva. She is very helpful and crafts the lesson with great care according to the student’s level. She has very organised materials and shares them with the student after class. I felt very comfortable asking questions a studying with her.
