Hi there, my name is Anna. I was born & raised in Japan, but I moved to the UK when I was a teen. A piece of my heart also belongs to Italy as I've learnt Italian when I was a bachelor student in London & also spent a year in Siena (Italy). As a multilingual, I am passionate about meeting new people, learning new things & exploring new places. Currently I am working in Amsterdam as a lecturer in Cultural Anthropology. If you want to improve your language skills whilst learning more about Anthropology, Sustainable Living & Zero Waste philosophy, look no further!

I love fun & creative lessons both as a teacher and a student. I have taught students of various age groups and from many different backgrounds. ------------------------------------------ My lessons are particularly for those who just began learning Japanese/are interested in Japanese cultures in general, and for those who are Japanese native & would like to improve their English. You are welcome to speak/explain yourself in English if you struggle to hold a conversation in Japanese. 日本人で英語を学びたい方、日本語を最近学び始めた人を特に対象としたレッスンをしたいと思っています。

My lessons normally follows a conversation style - this way, you get to know me & I get to know you. Learning a language should not be dull & boring. I am also open to have slides especially in the field of sustainability living, anthropology or any topic of your interest. I will prepare some fun exercises that we can practice new words and phrases. My teaching goal is to make you feel comfortable & confident in speaking a foreign language! 対話（たいわ）メインのレッスンになります。日本語（にほんご）を始（はじ）めたばかりの人（ひと）が特（とく）に対象（たいしょう）です。簡単（かんたん）な宿題（しゅくだい）を出（だ）したり、話（はな）したいトピックを決（き）めて意見（いけん）交換（こうかん）やゲームをしたりしながら一緒（いっしょ）に楽（たの）しく学（まな）ぼう！

Anna is an amazing teacher, her english is better than mine haha. I would strongly reccomend her class as she can explain grammar points in english while conversing in japanese.

Great first lesson with Anna. She's patient, enthusiastic and has a great sense of humour👍 Being native in both English and Japanese really gives her a leg up as a teacher, as she can explain those intricate nuances with easy. Looking forward to my next lesson, thanks!
