Living in the fabulous and vibrant New York City, I help Russian and Chinese tech professionals sound like native English speakers—fast. 🚀 My students (UI/UX designers, developers, PMs) master pronunciation, tech slang, and natural flow for meetings, pitches, and daily work.

As a TEFL certified teacher, I look forward to the challenge of teaching English particularly to Russian and Chinese speakers. I understand how important it is to perfect your English speaking skills rather than only writing and grammar learning. As a teacher I am very patient, mature, organized, motivated and excited to help my students learn quickly and thoroughly to speak English and feel confident doing so. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I will teach in English only and encourage you to speak as much English as you possibly can at all times. I will ask questions and give information, but I will limit the amount of time that I speak so that you are able to take full advantage of our time together speaking English! My lessons are adapted to suit small groups or individualized to teach students one-on-one. I will consider your English speaking level and base lessons off of that taking your age, experience, goals and abilities into consideration. It was my first lesson on Italki. Lori is really friendly and open person. We have discussed my study goals and then Lori explained her teaching methodology and gave me some recommendations regarding study and language practice. In general, I got a positive experience from the trial lesson.

All I can say is that Lori is an amazing teacher and great human being. She is very polite, kind an open-minded. We've discussed tons of topics and talked through various questions. I can certainly recommend Lori, you won't regret it. I myself will keep practicing my English with Lori for sure.
