Hi, I’m Franz! I’m originally from southern Germany and now living in Sweden. I work in the construction tech sector, where I use German, English, and Swedish every day. Outside of work, I’m a passionate cyclist and love exploring new cultures and perspectives. That’s why I also study languages myself here on Italky – because I enjoy being both a student and a teacher.عني كمعلّم
I’m a calm and patient person and want to make you feel comfortable and help you to built confidence in your German language skills and motivate you to reach your goals.
My family, friends, and coworkers often described me as a person that has the ability to bring out the hidden potential in people and make them feel valued and welcomed.
I have done private tutoring in English and German for Highschool students, was a tutor for Math &Physics at the University of Rosenheim and organized a Swedish-German exchange during my studies.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I offer three types of lessons:
Conversation practice -> We talk about topics that matter to you and build useful vocabulary along the way.
Technical German - With my engineering background in construction, I can help you expand your vocabulary and feel more comfortable expressing yourself in your field of expertise. One of my favorite exercises is to ask you questions about your area of expertise and then give you feedback on your answers.
Presentation training - I support you in structuring your speech, improving delivery, and leaving a lasting impression.

The lesson with Franz was great - not only did he speak with me about topics of my choice but also prepared a list of the words missing in my active vocabulary. I find his teaching system really well thought of and look forward to having next lesson with him.

I really enjoyed the session with Franz. He is very organized and has a clear study plan. I also liked it when he was making notes about my progress and digitally sharing that after the class. Looking forward to take more classes with Franz.
