Hi, I'm David! I've studied English at uni, and I enjoy languages, and can also speak Spanish.
My interest in languages began with video games 🤓 and later with English-speaking music 🎶, Hollywood movies and series 🎬, books 📗and, of course, lots and lots of YouTube.
I wanted to understand as much as possible what I played, watched and listened to. It was a long journey for me, but I had no rush, and enjoyed each step of the way because the times before the internet were slow-learning.
Now I'm here to chat in Portuguese and English, and offer advice on what I can.عني كمعلّم

Não trago materiais nem faço plano de aulas, mas podes trazer os teus próprios materiais (por exemplo, notícias, materiais de escola). 🇵🇹
🇬🇧 In class I'm just a native EU-PT speaker having a coffee chat with you, answering questions you might have about what you already know or need to understand.

We can:
- Talk 💬 about your hobbies and personal interests;
- Answer occasional questions you have about the language;
- Read 📖 and discuss your news articles 📰, short stories and books 📚;
- Study 🤓 any school material you want.
- Videos 📹 and music 🎶 of things you might like.

**1️⃣One student per class1️⃣.
**It's a conversation session, not an actual school class😅
**🚫No lesson plans or study programmes, no assessments.
**💵In case of student absence, tutor has right to be paid in full.4.9

David is the best Portuguese teacher I've ever had! He is super engaging and lessons always fly by! He tailors the lesson exactly to my requirements/level leveraging also my knowledge of Spanish and English to facilitate the learning process.
