Bonjour!😄 I'm Isabelle, I'm 30 and I'm a native & certified French teacher, with 7 years of experience. I also create online educational content (potaufrench). Indeed I love helping people learning French language and culture! Also, I am a very calm and curious French woman. I love food, singing, yoga, travelling, self-development, and reading different types of books... especially French literature! 😊 I graduated with a master degree in French and comparative literature, and I also have a second master degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I enjoy speaking with my students about French culture, their hobbies, about everything. 😃 ❗SORRY I'M NOT ACCEPTING STUDENTS UNDER 18❗ As a teacher, I am patient, understanding and thoughtful. 🔸I always send detailed course notes to my students after each class 🔸 I can suggest homework to my students, and also linguistic/cultural resources if they are interested. 😉 🔸My courses combine the practice of oral and writing French 🔸 I create my own dialogues, grammar lessons and exercises 🔸I can offer grammar activities 🔸 We can speak about French literature with pleasure 🔸 I like adding some customized activities based on your interests to my program 😊 📌 I can also give oral conversation classes and help for exams preparation and language tests ((DELF, DALF, TCF) ... I’ve just completed a series of five lessons within a week with Isabelle. It has been a very rewarding experience. We talked about various cultural and social issues. In the process, I learned a lot about France from Isabelle, a great teacher who is genuinely passionate about the French language and culture, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with her students.

Isabelle est une professeure très aimable. Elle est compétente, patiente, encourageante, et toujours prête à aider trouver les mots (ou les expressions) manquants. C'est toujours intéressant de lui parler. Elle explique dans une manière claire et n’hésite pas à clarifier profondément les subtilités grammaticales si on en a besoin. Je suis très content des leçons avec Isabelle.

Isabel is an excellent, knowledgeable teacher. I am 63 years old with some memory problems and this is the first time I am learning French. I'm making more progress than expected. I never thought I would be able to have a conversation in French for 30 minutes this soon. Isabel knows how to work with adult learners. She is patient, kind and makes every lesson relevant to me. In addition, she has a great sense of humor and we laugh in every session. I will be visiting France in October and I’m very confident that I will be able to communicate in French enough not only to function on a practical level but also on a conversational level to learn more about France and its people. I would highly recommend Isabel as your next French teacher.
