Hello! I’m glad you're here. Learning a language can be challenging, but not impossible! I’ve been teaching ESL for 4 years using science-backed psychology to help learners gain confidence in English and life skills. Using my educational, professional, and personal experiences, I support learners emotionally and energetically, encouraging habits that enhance English fluency in addition to other areas of life. My teaching is based on Grit: passion and perseverance. I provide engaging topics and area specific homework. It's crucial for learners to study outside class to encounter new vocabulary, grammar, and worldly perspectives. Learning English WILL change your life. I hope to talk soon!
As a teacher I am positive, upbeat, encouraging, and patient. I also provide a lot of energy and enthusiasm to my lessons. I always have a smile on my face! It is really important to me that you feel comfortable and we speak to each other as if we were friends. Make mistakes! You're human, it's natural. I am a student just as much as your are, and also empathize with the frustration of learning a language since I've been learning Spanish for years and continue to do so. But it is not impossible and the most enriching experience. I am well prepared with questions, activities, and resources for you to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
