Hello! My name is Nicolas. I'm half English and half Greek. I was born in London and at the moment I am living in Greece. I have lived many years in both countries, traveling, studying, experiencing day to day life and embracing their rich culture. I feel privileged that I can identify with both of my nationalities and live at ease in any of the two. The past couple of years I have become infatuated with learning foreign languages, linguistics and language acquisition. I began my journey with learning Japanese and it has been a very interesting experience as an adult.عني كمعلّم
I have been teaching English as a foreign language in Greece for two years now. I have taught one to one, mostly with children and young teenagers, preparing them for their lower exams and helping with the conversational skills. I have also taught Historical European Martial Arts for two years now. I believe this enhanced my capabilities as an teacher as I had to work simultaneously with students of different levels and find solutions to any problems that they might have. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I like to tailor my lessons to the student's specific needs. I have them focus on learning the language's structure so they can be more constructive with language. Nick is extremely calm and composed, and he has rich knowledge across many different fields. The atmosphere in class is relaxed, and our conversation flows quietly and naturally, without ever feeling mechanical.
The 90 minutes passed by almost without me noticing. When the lesson ended, I didn’t feel anxious or drained. Instead, I felt a sense of calm and quiet peace. Thank you Nick and hope to see you again soon!
