I have 3 years of experience as a Japanese instructor at an online and a European university. I am patient and passionate about teaching. My specialty is beginner grammar and conversation. I offer support in English or Spanish, so even absolute beginner no problem. My lessons focus on conversation and provide students with plenty of opportunities to practice speaking. Kikoさん has made every class so far very interesting and lively, she brings prepared material for the class and gives out good quantity of homework to keep up the studying. Definitely would recommend!

EN: The first lesson with Kiko-san was terrific and lots of fun! She is well-prepared and easy to talk to. I was surprised by the fact that she organized PowerPoint slides for the lesson. Not too many teachers do that.
ESP: La primera lectura con Kiko-san fue increíble y muy divertida. Además, Kiko-san también preparó plantillas de PowerPoint para la lectura en lugar de simplemente usar el texto Genki. La verdad es que eso me sorprendió, ya que no es común en mi experiencia con otros maestros. ¡La recomiendo al 100%!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kiko-san! I really feel like my conversational skills are improving. Kiko-san is diligent in gently correcting me when I get things wrong so that I can fix my mistakes, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about, which makes the lessons really fun.

I have been doing lesson with Kiko Sensei for 3 months now, 4 times a week. She is very thoughtful and caring and tailored the class to my needs. She was very accommodating and extremely patient even with a slow learner like me! I highly recommend her as a teacher because you will learn so much from her and she will be very thoughtful and caring with you!
