Hi, I'm Taka. Take it easy—that's my philosophy.
I love talking to people from all over the world. Every student teaches me something new. You're welcome here. Let's grow together.
Right now, I'm based in Tohoku, learning about agriculture and enjoying ramen every week. But life wasn't always like this. I spent more than a decade in Tokyo working in fashion, probably selling your country's brands. That experience gave me deep people skills and the ability to understand what customers needed—skills I use in my teaching.
In lessons, I will never rush you. I wait for you to speak and create space for you to say a lot. You talk more, make mistakes, correct yourself, and improve. That's how we solve the common problem—"I can understand, but I can't speak."
**What I Teach**
If you want academic Japanese study, my lessons may not fit. I recommend a teacher who specializes in that.
My lessons are conversation-focused. I don't focus on "correct" or "wrong," but on whether expressions are natural for native speakers. Through free conversation, you'll learn living Japanese: natural rhythm, real expressions, and authentic communication skills.
As my students say, the lessons are fun and full of laughter. In this atmosphere, you'll develop the ability to speak naturally and confidently with Japanese people—as an equal. That's the goal. Speaking well with anyone, anywhere.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I truly recommend Taka's Japanese conversational class to anyone who is interested in spoken Japanese. I started with very little confidence on myself. Today I am able to hear and converse with him without fear of making my mistakes .

I recently had my 50th lesson with Taka sensei and it's been an enjoyable 1-2 years studying with him. What makes Taka sensei different from other senseis is his ability to facilitate conversations, even with more quiet and awkward students like me. Taka sensei also fits perfectly with my learning goal of polishing my conversational skills, smoothly slipping in suggestions on how to use both formal and informal Japanese to make my conversing more natural. Taka sensei also makes the effort to monitor your progress and think of new ways to help you achieve your goals and improve. So if you're a N3-N1 student who is better on paper than in conversing, Taka sensei will be a great buddy to start getting ペラペラ！タカ先生、いつもお世話になっております。

I'm coming up on 200 lessons with Taka-san and have enjoyed every one! I still look forward to each lesson and feel that I have improved a lot since I began lessons with him. Taka-san is very easy to get along with, he has a relaxed style and guides you to speaking natural Japanese like a native. You will need to expose yourself to natural Japanese because everyday spoken Japanese is not what is taught in textbooks. Taka-san does a great job of guiding you to speak naturally and shows you how Japanese conversations normally flow. He will guide you to the correct words and phrases to use. He is constantly reminding me about 'aizuchi', or the short responses/phrases you need to use to ensure the speaker knows you are listening, because I always forget. I understand so much more conversational Japanese after taking lessons with Taka-san. You won't regret taking a lesson with Taka-san, that's why I keep doing it!
