Chi

My daughter loves Chi so much and asks all the time when her next lesson is. She's enjoying the class very much for a 6 year old.

Today teacher Chi gave me many great suggestions what I should learn offline with other resources. She also gave/encouraged me a lot of chances to speak based on the senstence structure we learned today.

I am really enjoying Chi's class. To be honest, there are many times when I get frustrated because I can't seem to recall words I know when I try to say them, but she is patient and always encourages and guides me well. I think there is a difference between knowing something and actually saying it, so I feel I need to keep practicing to be able to express what I know, and she is helping me a lot.

My partner and I have been taking lessons with Chi for over 2 years in preparation for a trip to Vietnam! As heritage speakers who wanted to reconnect with the language, we couldn't be happier that we decided to take classes with Chi. Chi structures her lessons to our needs and is always so patient. She teaches the basics very well in addition to being a great conversation partner. 10/10 recommend lessons with Chi!

Chi is an outstanding teacher! Her attention to detail is unparalleled and you can really tell she enjoys educating and helping others learn Vietnamese. Chi is also very helpful in guiding me through various thought processes when conversing in Vietnamese. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Vietnamese (and at all levels!) 10/10

Chi is seriously the best teacher! I’m Vietnamese and always struggled learning. Everyone around me speaks English and I don’t get to practice with family, so I’m thrilled that this is only my 7th lesson with Chi and I know more Vietnamese now than my whole life, haha. I couldn’t even recite the alphabet before her. Chi’s lesson starts with pronunciation and she broke down how to produce the tones by mouth shape and it made more sense than any other textbook or instructor I’ve worked with before. I also love learning the context and history of Vietnam, which Chi shares a lot of if you’re interested! Like the origin of words tell a story of Vietnam it’s amazing. Thank you, Chi! I always look forward to our lessons!
