Hello! My name is Seongsoo, and I am a professional Korean language teacher.
I was born and raised in South Korea and studied in the United States for about seven years. I now live in Seoul. Through my experience living abroad, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture.
Korean is my native language, and I teach standard Korean used in everyday and professional settings. I speak English fluently and can also hold basic conversations in Japanese.
My lessons are customized to each student’s level and goals in a comfortable and supportive environment. I look forward to helping you enjoy learning Korean and make steady progress!عني كمعلّم
Hi there! I'm so glad you're here. I’ve spent over 7 years doing what I love: teaching Korean to students from all over the world! Having worked with learners from every corner of the globe, I’ve seen firsthand how much fun learning a new language can be.
To me, a language class is a doorway to a new culture. I love our lessons because they are a chance for us to share different perspectives and stories. I am incredibly grateful for Kim 선생님's exceptional patience and calm demeanor. He creates a welcoming and comfortable environment that makes it very easy for students to talk and express their thoughts. Kim 선생님 always gives you plenty of opportunities to speak during lessons, ensuring ample practice in conversation.
Additionally, Kim 선생님 goes above and beyond by typing out notes on new vocabularies and sentences covered during class and sending them back to you afterward. These personalized notes are invaluable for my review and practice, making it much easier to remember and apply what I've learned. I have learned so much and so quickly during my lessons with Seongsoo. He gives wonderful explanations, relevant information about the language and culture, and is so supportive of my learning.
