Hello, everyone! I'm Una from China. I hold a Ph.D. and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher in Tianjin. I have a strong passion for both learning and teaching languages. With over 10 years of experience teaching Chinese on italki, I am well-equipped to guide learners at any level—whether you're just starting out, a young learner, or an advanced speaker aiming to refine your skills. Una is a fantastic teacher! She is friendly and interesting, making the lesson feel relaxed and engaging. She is intelligent so was very good at judging my level of understanding. She is also very diligent, preparing written and audio notes to share after the class, great for review... a perfect italki tutor!

Una is an excellent teacher. Her lesson was challenging, interesting and enjoyable. During today's lesson we discussed travel in China, whereas she introduced me to new vocabulary, and phrases. Una also helped me with my enunciation of words as well. This was a fun lesson taught by an excellent teacher!

Una was very patient, supportive and helpful and provided audio and written material after the lesson for reptition. She has proficient communication skills in English. She is very open and funny. Talking to her is like talking to a friend.
