Born and raised in Sweden, I traveled across the Atlantic after high school to study at Oral Roberts University and to run for the school team.
I taught physical education, special education, and English Language Arts internationally.
Now, I work as a digital nomad, working as an educational consultant, teaching Swedish and English, and hosting a Swedish Language podcast.
In my free time, I have a passion for running, swimming in the ocean, working out in the gym, playing tennis, shopping for clothes, reading, and spending amazing time on the beach with my shih-poo Luna.عني كمعلّم
Teaching, to me, is an art form more than a science. I support, coach, and care for you during the lesson and between lessons!
I also love to see progress in real metrics! I want to see that you have tons of fun and gain real confidence in speaking Swedish.

We exchanged some resources for Swedish learning, and we talked about how AI can help learning by producing material to study on. But also how too many tools like AI and translators and all sorts of apps can ruin your brain, making it completely passive and machine-dependent. If used correctly, students shall use this tools in a dynamic way, write and speak with the material "given" by these tools. Else AI is a trap to your fluency. imho.

Superkul! Jag tycker verkligen om våra lektioner! Jag känner mig mycket mer bekväm och självsäker när jag pratar svenska. För varje lektion blir det bara bättre och bättre. Vi har intressanta samtal, roliga material och mitt humör blir alltid bättre, även om dagen har varit kaotisk
