I really enjoyed my first lesson with Guli! Guli reached out before the lesson to ask what I wanted to work on and we spent part of the session practicing Russian verbs of motion. Aside from the lesson itself, I have spent a considerable chunk of my adult life in Central Asia and appreciated being able to connect with someone in Russian from the region. Additionally, as a fluent French speaker, I admire the fact that Guli also speaks French and was able to use it during our time together to communicate an unknown word. Guli asked me a lot of questions at the start of the lesson which I liked because I felt that she was genuinely interested in getting to know me. Very much looking forward to booking more lessons with Guli and continuing my Russian-language journey with her!
