I offer relaxed and friendly Japanese lessons for adult learners who want to enjoy speaking Japanese without pressure ✨ Whether you want conversation practice, JLPT preparation, or useful Japanese for travel and daily life, I’ll create lessons that match your level and goals. 🌸Mistakes are always welcome here 🌸 I know learning a new language can feel stressful sometimes, so I focus on creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere where you can relax and speak at your own pace. I’m a certified native Japanese teacher with over 420 hours of professional training and experience teaching students from different backgrounds. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the travel industry, so I also enjoy sharing useful real-life Japanese and fun cultural tips about Japan ✈️ 🌸 My lessons are great for learners who: ・feel nervous speaking Japanese ・want natural conversation practice ・prefer relaxed and friendly lessons ・want practical Japanese they can really use 🍜 About me: I love movies, music, cafés, food culture, and traveling. Yui sensei has been a wonderful teacher! She has explained complex grammar patterns in a way that is much easier to understand, and has been so kind and patient throughout. What impresses me most is her adaptability; I worked with her for exam preparation, and despite the exam structure being quite different from typical Japanese proficiency tests, she seamlessly adjusted her teaching style to fit the exam's requirements, tailoring the sessions accordingly. I truly appreciated her support and guidance, which helped me feel well-prepared for the exam. I highly recommend Yui sensei to anyone looking for a teacher who can meet their unique needs! ☺️

Today's lesson was very helpful. Not only was I learning new grammar in preparation for my next goal, but in her custom made material she's added two helpful things. First is sentences exposing me to new useful vocabulary. Second is callbacks to older grammar along with references to their locations in our texts in case I've forgotten them. Today's material was very engaging and enjoyable.

I truly enjoyed my second lesson with Yui sensei. In the past, I always had difficulty finding Japanese lessons that were right for me since I already had a grasp of the language from speaking it at home but struggled with proper grammar and kanji. I have already learned so much since her lessons are tailored to my level. I find the PowerPoint presentations and interactive activities help improve my grammar significantly!

Yui-san is a great teacher; she is so patient with me and I highly recommend her. She has many unique resources to complement the textbook we have been following, making the sessions more enjoyable. She is very good at noticing when I start forgetting some previously learned grammar point, and makes sure to quickly refresh it with me.
