Hi! I’m a ✨TEFL-certified✨ French-American teacher, born in California and raised in snowy New York—now soaking up the sun in Nice, France. My bilingual upbringing and summers in the South of France gave me a deep love for bridging cultures through language.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me ✈️traveling✈️ (25 countries and counting!), editing novels as a copywriter, or nerding out about cinema and books But my real passion? I am TEFL certified, and experienced in grammar, pronunciation, IETLS preparation, and more. My teaching environment is casual and relaxed. Whether you want to have a chill speaking environment or are preparing for an exam or job interview, I can help!
I also have experience in marketing, copywriting/editing, and translation. If you have English writing that you need proofread, feel free to book a consultation with me under my "Copywriting" lesson option. I have edited websites, job applications, fantasy novels, and much more.

I tailor my lessons according to your needs. Some prefer free conversation, and we will discuss many topics in these lessons, focusing on quick-thinking and new vocabulary. Others prefer more structure, such as specific grammar exercises, activities, and assignments. Tell me your goals, and we will construct the lesson plan and style that is best for you!
I will correct your grammar when it's necessary - but don't be afraid to make mistakes! It is always the best way to learn.

Sophie is our 8 and 10-year-olds English teacher and she is nothing short of amazing. She effortlessly connects with the kids, blending educational content with their interests in a fun and engaging way. Her humor adds a delightful touch to the lessons, making learning a joy.
The kids eagerly anticipate her weekly classes, and the hour always seems too short for them—they're hungry for more! Her unique ability to make learning both educational and enjoyable is truly amazing.

it was a great experience. She is patient, professional, and always explains things clearly. The lessons are easy to follow, and she makes me feel comfortable speaking, which really helped me gain confidence in English.
What I especially appreciated were the deep and intellectual conversations we had during the lessons. They made the learning process much more engaging and meaningful, and I always felt motivated after each session.
